What this is
A free, closed, vetted network of NHS practitioners and embedded specialists working on FDP implementation run by Tom Bartlett. Data engineers, analysts, transformation leads, quality and governance specialists. People doing the actual work of making the platform deliver for patients and services.
This is not an official programme channel, a sales pitch, or a community of practice with an open door. It is a free space where practitioners share what they are actually seeing on the ground, under conditions of safety that do not exist anywhere else.

Who can join
NHS staff and embedded specialists actively involved in FDP implementation at a Trust or ICB. This includes data engineers, analysts, transformation leads, clinical informaticists, and quality specialists, whether employed directly by the NHS or working within a Trust team as part of a consultancy or interim arrangement.
Membership is by application and personal interview only. Every applicant is individually reviewed and approved by Tom Bartlett.
Vendor sales teams, programme leadership, journalists, campaigners and anyone whose primary interest is observation rather than participation should not apply. If your role is to sell into Trusts or monitor what practitioners are saying, this network is not for you.
Rules of the network
These rules support a culture of openness and safety for all members.
Courtesy and Respect. All participants will behave professionally and treat others with respect and courtesy.
Chatham House Rule. Participants are free to use the information they receive, but the identity of any speaker or participant may not be revealed outside the network.
No sharing without permission. No content from this network may be shared outside it without explicit written permission from the person who created it. No screenshots, no forwarded messages, no attributed quotes.
Gatekeeper approval. Every new member is personally vetted and approved, to prevent those with an ulterior motive joining the network.
Breach means removal. Members who share content without permission or misrepresent their role will be removed permanently with no right of return.
